Families can visit us in three different ways – each designed to give you a real feel for life at Willows Farm Day Nursery & Pre-School and help you decide whether our nature-rich, farm-based nursery in Hertfordshire is the right fit for your child.
Where possible, we encourage families to bring their child along. This gives them the chance to explore the nursery environment, meet our team, interact with the animals and capture a special photo keepsake from their visit.
Whether you’re looking for the flexibility of a weekend open event or want to see the nursery in action during the week, we’ve got you covered.
Open Day
(Monthly – Saturdays)
Perfect if you want the full “Willows welcome” on a relaxed weekend.
You’ll meet the team, explore our rooms and outdoor leaning spaces, chat to staff, and take your time wandering the nursery. No rush or weekday logistics, just a warm and friendly introduction to life at Willows.
Great for: families who want to browse, ask questions, and soak up the atmosphere.
Enrolment Week
(Every 3 Months – Saturday to Saturday)
This is our biggie. Enrolment Week is the best time to join us if you’re ready to secure a place soon.
Across the week, you can book a visit, see the nursery in action, and take advantage of our special offers (exclusive to Enrolment Week).
Great for: families who want added flexibility, plenty of availability for visits, and access to limited-time offers.
Weekday show around
(Monday – Friday)
A personal visit where you can see the nursery in full flow – children learning, staff interacting, animals being adored, the whole shebang.
It’s the closest you’ll get to experiencing what your child’s day would really feel like.
Great for: families who want a one-to-one tour and a peek at real nursery life.
Whichever option you choose, you’ll be able to:
