Room Leader

We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Early Years Practitioner with managerial experience to join our amazing team as a Room Leader of our Pre-School room, looking after a team of 14 practitioners.

Our Pre School room can hold up to 105 children and you would be working along side our Deputy and Manager of Pre School.

Our nursery is open from 7am-7pm Monday to Friday, so you must be available for shift patterns between these opening hours.

Working in this unique environment, the role will be challenging and extremely rewarding!

Responsibilities and Duties

·         To take full day to day responsibility for the efficient running of the room facility.

·         To help maintain staff records and assist with appraisals and supervisions.

·         To provide an attractive stimulating range of equipment, activities and displays relevant to the age and needs of the children in the setting, which encourage independence, self-motivation and eagerness to learn.

·         To establish, in conjunction with the childcare SENCO, individual programmes for any children with special needs.

·         To treat information of matters relating to the work within the setting as confidential.

·         To ensure any injury or accident or suspicion of non-accidental injury are recorded correctly or reported.

·         To ensure a high standard of hygiene in relation to staff, children, equipment and surroundings.

·         To ensure Kids play policies and procedures are followed at all times.

·         To ensure that the Ofsted standards including EYFS is followed at all times.

·         To support the nursery manager in striving to deliver an outstanding setting

 

Deputy Manager Activity Day Camps

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Nursery Room Leader/Manager/Deputy or Teacher to join us at Willows Farm Day Nursery & Activity Camps, to manage our Activity Holiday Camp based on Willows Farm during school holidays.

Our Holiday Camp is open from 7 am-7 pm Monday to Friday during school holidays, so you will need to be available for shift patterns between these hours. You would be managing a team of approx.10 Practitioners whilst looking after children ages 3-12 years old.

Working in this unique environment, the role will be challenging and extremely rewarding!

Roles & Responsibilities

·         Ensure the effective daily management of the Holiday Day Camp is in accordance with Company Policy, the Children Act 2004, and other relevant legislation; and all Local Authority and OFSTED requirements.

·         Strive to deliver an outstanding setting.

·         To maintain staff records and lead appraisals and supervisions.

·         Be responsible for management, training and discipline of all settings staff

·         Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the camp and meet occupancy and financial objectives.

·         Helping students and trainees to settle in and make a contribution to the assessment of the students and trainees performance and to ensure high standards are continually being met.

·         To open and close the camp

·         To provide an attractive stimulating range of equipment, activities and displays relevant to the age and needs of the children in the setting, which encourage independence, self motivation and eagerness to learn.

·         To establish, in conjunction with the childcare SENCO, individual programmes for any children with special needs.

·         To treat information of matters relating to the work within the setting as confidential.

·         Monitor and ensure all agreed Company quality and safety standards are maintained in the setting at all times.

·         To ensure company policies and procedures are followed at all times.

·         To ensure that the Ofsted standards including EYFS is followed at all times.

Childcare Practitioners

Due to our location, applicants with a full UK driving licence and transport would be preferred.

Nursery Nurse / Childcare Practitioner

– Seasonal, School Holidays only

Due to continued success and expansion, we are now looking for Practitioners to join our Nursery rooms on a seasonal contract, to provide cover school holidays.

Ideally you will have a recognised qualification in Childcare, and experience in a similar environment. This position would be ideal for a college or university student studying childcare, and would provide great experience for your CV. Or a term time only teacher looking to earn an additional income during holidays?

This position will require you to undergo a full DBS clearance.
